Basic Academy
Welcome to Basic Academy Training. As a cadet, you will learn the extreme basics of the posting style favored by the Alpha Quadrant Simulation Group. While not all of our games will follow this style in every detail, these basics are the same in each one of our games.
You will complete five (5) blocks of study:
- The Basics
- Basic Posting Skills
- Character Bio Creation
- Character Interaction
- Joint Posts
Lesson 01 - The Basics - will cover the essential terms and protocols that are in operation on every level of the game.
Lesson 02 - Basic Posting Skills - will teach you how to write your first post and introduce you to the posting styles of the AQSG.
Lesson 03 - Character Bio Creation - will see to it that you are capable of assembling a character profile to help the other players and yourself truly understand your character.
Lesson 04 - Character Interaction - will teach you the fine DOs and DON'Ts of posting and interaction.
Lesson 05 - Joint Posts - will teach you the art of Joint Posting, working on a lengthy post with one or more players off the mailing list.
Upon successful completion of these blocks, you will be graduated to the Advanced Academy level where you will receive specific training in your chosen genre.
You may now proceed with your lessons. Do not move on to the next lesson without the permission of your instructor.
