BACKGROUND:

Luke was born on Vulcan to two Betazoid students of the Vulcan Medical Academy. His parents opted to finish their studies and when Luke was five, they sent him to Betazed to start school rather than make him uproot himself in the middle of the year- when they would be leaving Vulcan. He lived with his paternal grandparents until his parents returned.

In school, Luke was a source of constant exaspiration to his teachers. He was always trying to talk his way out of homework and give excuses why he couldn't turn in papers on time, though he rarely failed to finish any assignement in a timely manner. Eventually, one of his teachers took Luke under his wing and taught him how to channel his intelegence into hard work and diligence.

Luke decided on Engineering rather than Medicine like either of his parents and went off to Starfleet Academy with all of his cunning in place. He graduated 14th in his class of 624 and was placed on the USS Falcon where he was quickly promoted to Lieutenant JG and later to full Lieutenant. After two more years on the Falcon, he was sent to the Sparrow as assistant CEO and eventually reassigned to the Black Hawk as Chief Engineering Officer. Following the incident at Starbase 177, Casey was reassigned once more to Starbase 177.

PERSONALITY PROFILE:

Luke is sly and cunning. He is ambitious, yet slightly lazy. He likes to get out of extra work by convincing other people that they really want to do it, rather a lot like Tom Sawyer.

PHYSICAL PROFILE:

Luke is tall and thin with a pointed chin and a pale face. His blonde hair usually hangs in his eyes and he is normally wearing some sort of a smirk.
