BACKGROUND:

Daniel was born in Seattle at May 2357. He had a happy childhood and he had many friends realizing at very young age that he could become friends with almost anyone save the few bullies at school. He also had a second trait that wasn't as pleasant. Atleast not from his family's point of view. Little Daniel liked to dissemble things. The bad thing was that even though he was very good at it he wasn't as good in putting the dissembled items back together. He became interested in power distribution systems at a very young age (7) when he got an electric shock when dissembling a replicator.

When he was 18 he joined Starfleet engineering training and decided to specialize in the area that he loved. Power circuits. After four years of training he was instantly assigned to the Utopia Planitia Spaceyards and on the Hermes project. This was a great challenge to him and he gladly accepted the position. The only minor shadow in this project was when the power circuits overloaded in the jeffries tube he was in due to malfunction in the reactor. As a result he got a scar on his right shoulder from the explosion and dislike towards jeffries tubes.

After two years the Hermes was ready to fly and as an answer to Daniel's dreams he was assigned to the new ship as Chief Engineer. Shortly thereafter, he was transferred to the USS Altai as the Chief Operations Officer.

PERSONALITY PROFILE:

Daniel is a friendly fellow who befriends easily with almost anyone. He loves his jobs though he dislikes the jeffries tubes mostly because of the accident that happened in one when the Hermes was still in drydock. He is also very talkactive and has no problems of talking of his personal life with others. As long as it doesn't break his cover. He is very proud of the Hermes and considers it a jewel of her class. After all he was designing her power distribution systems.
