BACKGROUND:

Aalox was born on Denobula Triaxa on March 6, 2356. His family was a long line of Starship Architects. They even have their own firm, Aaloxian Spacecraft. They mostly design shuttles, freighters, and other civilian ships.

Aalox became fascinated with the family business ever since his father toke him to Starfleet Ship Yards over Utopia Planitia, Mars. Aalox spent his childhood on Denobulan with his family. He went to secondary school on Mars, where his father was helping with the design and construction of the Galaxy Class Starship. Aalox would go up to the shipyards every weekend with his father.

Apon completing secondary school, Aalox was accepted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Cambridge, Massachusetts, Earth. With his experience with his father, he excelled in all of his engineering classes. While at the Institute, Aalox also became addicted to the thought of being an explorer, traveling to distant parts of the galaxy.

After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Aalox almost immediately applied to enter Starfleet Academy, to the disapproval of his father. Since Aalox entered the academy in the spring, the two have never talked to each other.

During his years at Starfleet Academy, Aalox made many friends due to his general easy-going attitude. His famous Denobula Grin was always a party hit. Because of his extensive in starship design, Aalox excelled again in all of his starship engineering courses. He wasn’t as good in his piloting classes though. His instructors were afraid to let the young Denobula fly in anything besides the simulators. Once he did find himself behind the controls of an old shuttlecraft. It was an experience that neither Aalox nor the other passengers on board at the time like to remember. His close friends mock that he can design starship, build starships, yet he can’t fly starships.

After graduation, Aalox was assigned to the USS Crazyhorse. Aalox loved the ship. He went over every detail of the blueprints of the old Excelsior class vessel. A year after he joined the Crazyhorse’s crew he found an error in the blueprints. While working the a jefferies tube on the back of the “neck” of the Crazyhorse, he saw that a portion of the bulkhead next to the exterior wall was not reinforced the way he remembered from the blueprints. He checked the prints when he was done and sure enough, what was built and what was done was different. He spent few days examining the bulkhead and discovered that with an impact of merely 50 Newtons on the hull at just the right spot could cause a hull breach. He reported his findings to the Starfleet Division of Naval Architecture and received a message back stating that the same flaw was also discovered on nearly 200 other Excelsior Class Starships.

The Subspace message also informed Aalox that he is to be promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade and transferred to the USS Lightflash. His stay was short but exciting. He became quick and close friends with Chief Engineer Zhukori. His first and only mission on the Lightflash was a planet terrraforming mission. Afterwards Aalox was tasked with the construction of an advance shipyard in orbit above the planet and made Acting Chief of Operations of the USS Kodiak.

Upon completion of the shipyard Aalox was promoted and reassigned to the USS Patriot.

PERSONALITY PROFILE:

Graves wants a chance to prove himself in a combat situation, this may be due to the fact he was never able to test the shuttles he had been trained to fly but mainly he also wants to come across the Breen so as to have a chance to exact revenge on for the Breen attack on Earth.

While this may worry some commanding officers about what could happen if Graves was ever to encounter the Breen, Graves will always state that even though he might suggest a more confrontational course of action he will not go against direct orders, whether if this is true remains to be seen.

PHYSICAL PROFILE:

Aalox is very sociable as most Denobulans are. He is able to do more work in a day then most crewmembers being that Denobulans only need very little sleep a night. He will always help those in need. Aalox spends most of his time Designing Starships and studying Naval Architecture.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Aalox tries to eat a healthy diet, but enjoys many “unhealthy” Earth foods. Aalox will sample most any Denobulan or Earth dish. His favorite is Chicken Marsala.
